Our parish Confirmation Programme for children begins in Term One each year.
The programme is designed for children in Year 8, though we accept older children who, for whatever reason, missed the programme at this age.
Confirmation for adults is organised seperately, please contact the office (03) 348 6100 for further details.
The Confirmation Programme for 2024 began
with a parent meeting on
Thursday, 15 February at 7pm at Our Lady of Victories.
The children began their lessons on Wednesday, 21 February at 6pm at Our Lady of Victories.
ENROLMENTS FOR CONFIRMATION 2024 ARE CLOSED
The Confirmation Programme allows the candidates to dive deep into scripture,
understand the Sacrament of Confirmation, and learn about the gifts and the fruits of the Holy Spirit.
It involves 9 weeks of lessons on Wednesdays (no lessons during school holidays) and also a confirmation retreat.
The Confirmation Mass for 2024 will be on Sunday 12 May.
Cost for 9-week programme: $110. Includes Youth Catechism for each child (which they keep), photocopying, and other course materials. Cost also covers the weekend retreat.
