Young Adults
Our goal is to involve them actively in the Church's community, not only in the future, but also in the present. Christchurch West young adults meet on Tuesday every fortnight at 7pm. We are a diverse group of people and always welcome new members, volunteers, or musicians to join us!
Our range of activities include formation, talks, prayer groups, worship, and social night. We also have monthly tramping and annual retreat for young adults. We provide a safe space for young adults from every walk of life

Join our Youth Group
Belonging is important!
Our youth group is a place where you can feel like you belong. it’s where you can explore those tough questions in a safe and loving environment - but still keeping it fun, faith-filled with food being in abundance!
What you need to know?
Our youth group is more than just a gathering of young people; it's a community where you can find a sense of belonging and acceptance. You don't have to hide who you are or pretend to be someone you're not because everyone is welcomed with open arms.
We understand that being a teenager or young adult can be challenging, and you may have many questions about life, faith, and your purpose. That's why our youth group provides a safe and loving environment where you can explore those tough questions without judgment or condemnation.
Our Youth Group meets at the Bishop Joyce Centre (Hall) at Our Lady of Victories on Sunday nights during term time from 6.15pm - 7.45pm. Everyone from Year 7 to Year 13 is welcome to join us. For more details, please contact Fr Philip at fr.philip@christchurchwest.org.nz.
