Safeguarding at West Parish

Our parish places utmost importance on ensuring the safety and protection of all individuals participating in its activities, ministries, and services. The wellbeing of our community is our top priority.

We are sincerely grateful for the dedicated volunteers who generously contribute their time to various ministries. To oversee safeguarding measures, the Catholic Parish of Christchurch West has appointed a designated parish safeguarding contact.

Safeguarding Measures

To ensure the effective implementation of safeguarding practices, the Catholic Parish of Christchurch West has appointed a designated parish safeguarding contact. This individual is responsible for overseeing and coordinating safeguarding measures within the parish.

Nominated parish contact for our parish is Katrina High (348 6100 or katrina@christchurchwest.org.nz) who supports the parish priest in overseeing all activities, concerns and procedures related to safeguarding.
