First Holy Communion is for children Yr 4 and above who have already been baptised.
Our First Holy Communion Programme for 2023
will begin with a parent meeting on 19 July, 7:00pm
at the Bishop Joyce Centre, OLV Church, 106 Main South Rd
Registrations for our First Holy Communion Programme for 2023 will open mid Term 3.
The children’s formation will consist of six Wednesday sessions (beginning 26 July) to prepare them for Reconciliation followed by six Wednesday sessions
to prepare them to receive the Eucharist.
Sessions will be held at The Bishop Joyce Centre from 4:00 pm till 5:00 pm.
The programme will finish up with a day retreat on Saturday 11 November.
The First Holy Communion Mass will take place on Sunday 12 November.
